arraigned Friday on charges that he fatally beat his live-in girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter, the District Attorney’s office announced. Omar Gutierrez, (dob 2-24-81), was charged Wednesday in a felony complaint for
arrest warrant with one count of murder, said
Deputy District Attorney Catherine Granof. Leslie R. was pronounced dead Nov. 12 after Gutierrez and the child’s mother called paramedics.Guitierrez, who is being held on $1 million bail, is scheduled to be arraigned after 8:30 a.m. Friday at Compton Superior Court, Department 12, in case TA 115351. If convicted, he faces 15 years to
life in prison.
