A 34-year-old Australian executive was charged today with leaving the scene of a collision in last week’s fatal hit-and-run of a 21-year-old woman in West Hollywood.

Ryan Mathew Bowman, (dob 6-30-76), was charged in case SA 075922. He is scheduled to be arraigned after 1:30 p.m. at Beverly Hills Superior Court, Department 1.

Deputy District Attorney Steven Katz, head deputy of the Beverly Hills office, said the Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the incident.

Bowman is suspected of being behind the wheel of a Bentley that struckinto Lauren Ann Freeman as she was crossing Sunset Boulevard at Hammond Street about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday. Sheriff's investigators said the driver fled in the car.

Bowman is a director of Sydney-based Zeal Entertainment, which owns the rights to "Girls Gone Wild" for Australia.
