Violence broke out in a Valinda neighborhood early Sunday morning and four people were shot.
Was it gang related? Investigators want to know and are all over this crime case. Valinda is an unincorporated portion of Los Angeles County located in the Whittier area.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting of four male Hispanic adults which occurred on the 17100 Block of Sam Gerry Drive, Valinda.
Detectives have learned at approximately 4:04 a.m., Sunday (09-12-10) morning, suspect(s) unknown walked up to where the victims were gathered in an open garage and opened fire on the occupants.
Four Male Hispanic Adults and one Male Hispanic Juvenile were wounded by the gunfire. Three of the victims were transported to local hospitals. There names have not been released to the media.
Two of the male Hispanic adults are listed in serious condition and one was first listed as "death imminent" but he has since recovered and is now listed as "stable."
The male Hispanic juvenile is also listed in serious condition. The remaining male Hispanic adult received minor injuries from a gunshot and was treated at the scene by paramedics. No motive has been established.
