DON ROBERTO JEWELERS in NORWALK ROBBED ON MONDAY AFTERNOON ON ROSECRANS AND STUDEBAKER. IT WAS A "SMASH AND GO." SUSPECTS AT LARGE.

NORWALK, CA

The Don Roberto Jewelers over at 10965 Rosecrans Boulevard  was robbed on Monday afternoon in what authorities are calling a "smash and go" robbery.  The store is located at Rosecrans and Studebaker Road just east of the 605 Freeway.

Here are the details:

  • Suspects entered the jewelry store and  smashed cases and stole a yet-unknown amount of jewelry.
  • The incident occurred at about 3:10 p.m. on Monday.
  • Weapons used was a a hammer.
  • Two people were shopping inside the store at the time of the crime and were ordered to "get down on the ground" by the robbers.
  • A couple of jewelry cases were smashed.
  • "No weapons" were seen.
  • Suspects were described as being "about 24 to 25 years old." 
  • Wearing dark-colored clothing and driving a beige Jeep Cherokee.
