Shooting at Platt Avenue and Spruce Street leaves one dead; Situation developing

Scary shooting tonight in the East Rancho Dominiguez area of Los Angeles around an hour ago....

Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are en route to the intersection of Platt Avenue and Spruce Street, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Black adult. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There is no further information available at this time. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
