Sad news out of the wonderful community of La Crescenta....

A 15 year old boy, whose name has not been released, has died from a fall in a central location on the campus where two buildings are connected by elevated walkways.

It was unclear whether he fell from a walkway or the roof, said Richard Sheehan, superintendent of the Glendale Unified School DistrictThe incident took place during school hours on Friday.  Can't imagine how sad everyone must be at this tight knit campus.

I have received several notes and hundreds of readers to my blog in the past several hours looking for specifics about this sad sad news.  The name of the student has not been officially released as of 10:30 p.m.

Feel free to leave your comments at the bottom of this post.  Keep the family and the young boy in your HEARTS and PRAYERS!

Drew Ferraro was the boys name. Everyone who would like to is asked to come dressed in black on Tuesday when school is back in session. My heart goes out to CV High School and to the family of Drew. Rest in Peace!
