Horrific crash at the 105 Freeway at Garfield Avenue in Paramount. One killed, two cars land on top of each other, 3 others flee from scene. Great coverage from Eric Spillman and KTLA!

PARAMOUNT --

If you are like me, and if you have been on the 105 Freeway, you know just how confusing and dangerous the off and on ramps are here. I hate the on and off ramps on the 105 Freeway. Bad planning all the way around.

Regardless, a horrific hit-and-run crash at the 105 Freeway on the Garfield Avenue off ramp resulted in the death of one person, and at least three others fled the scene and are wanted by local law enforcement.
The crash was covered on all the local morning television news broadcasts. The best coverage was from KTLA's Eric Spillman. "The Spill" ALWAYS gets the news correct....and I wanted to post his video clip report for my readers.

Here is the Link: Here is the LINK for ERIC'S REPORT!

Here are the factoids:
  • A minivan ended up on top of a Chrysler 300 sedan.
  • The crash took place at around 3 a.m.
  • Exact location was Garfield Avenue at the 105 Freeway on the border between Paramount and South Gate.
  • One man was killed. His name has not been released.
  • The license plate of the minvan with the three fleeing men was from the State of Sonora, Mexico.
If you have ANY information on the THREE MEN who fled the scene of this crash, please call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, or dial 911.
