UPDATE: Deputy Involved Shooting in Bellflower sends one man to local hospital

Here is a follow up to that deputy involved shooting that took place last night over in Bellflower off of Alondra Boulevard.

A man was being treated today for injuries he suffered after he was shot by L.A. County sheriff's deputies. He is in a "local hospital."

The officer was responding to reports of "shots being fired" according to published reports.

The shooting, at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, occurred on the 16000 block of Eucalyptus Avenue. The name of the victim involved has not been released. It is not know what charges he will be facing at this time.
