NORWALK - Tonight a man and a woman are lucky to be alive after they were wounded in a car-to-car shooting on Saturday afternoon.

Tonight, the community is being asked to be keep an eye out for the four men and the truck involved in this crime.

The shooting occurred about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Shoemaker Avenue and Rosecrans Boulevard area of Norwalk

A woman in her 20s and a man in his 50s suffered minor wounds in the attack. Deputies believe that the female passenger was the main target who was inside an SUV.

The male victim, an innocent bystander was walking along the street when he was shot.
The attackers were described only as four male Latinos in a gray Toyota Tundra pickup truck. I have posted a photo of what a "gray Toyota Tundra" actually looks like in case you see a car of the description in our neighborhood tonight.

A motive was not immediately clear.

ANYONE with details about this shooting are urged to contact the Norwalk Sheriff's Department at 562 863-8711.
