Tonight, AMERICA is getting to see the HOTTEST and newest street band to hit the INTERNET!
Meet our locally famous "Shoemaker Street Band!"
Yep, our best kept secret band from St. Linus Catholic Church is making a splash on You Tube, and I wanted to be one of the FIRST BLOGS to let post some of their GROOVY TUNES!
The SHOEMAKER STREET BAND is led by Anna Bettancourt, Dean Adame, Mike Bettancourt, Emil Salud and others from the Norwalk/Cerritos community. They are AMAZING, talented and a MUST SEE for local music fans all over Southern California. I actually named them the "Shoemaker Street Band" because St. Linus is located on Shoemaker Street, and THEY ARE INDEED a GREAT BAND!
The "SSB" made its WORLD PREMIERE DEBUT at my 50th BIRTHDAY PARTY at the SHERATON CERRITOS HOTEL this past Feb. 20th!
They are now booking gigs, concerts in the parks, local mega fundraisers, and other happenings to the WORLD around us! Here they are at last weeks at the Cancer Relay for Life here at Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA.
I am posting two of their hits: "Hard Days Night" and "Walkin' On Sunshine."
BTW. This band is available for bookings and concerts and will have a CD on the way. If you want more information, drop me a note and I will make sure that you get more details!
