Interesting development in this high profile case that dominated news cycles here in Los Angeles this past weekend.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Homicide Bureau have determined that the March 18, 2012, death of Carlos Rodas, was the result of an upper respiratory infection.

Remember, this is the incident that occurred outside a Malibu restaurant where he was employed.

It appears there was no criminal conduct related to his death.
