Santa Fe Springs sent into a "pot haze" after City Councilman Joe Serrano goes down in flames. Who is next?

What's THE REaction:
Serrano being rushed into a closed door meeting in Santa Fe Springs on Thursday night.
Photos and Blog by Randy Economy

What a sad commentary on our community, once again by local city council members who think that they are entitled to be above the law.
Serrano exits Santa Fe Springs City Hall in a waiting automobile.

There is a pattern here. Wake up folks.

On Thursday, I got a tip that the Feds had been focusing on Santa Fe Springs City Hall (a more than one official, perhaps several officials) where "on the take" and giving "bribes" surrounding those pot shops that are popping up on street corners in every town these days.
The resignation......
Santa Fe Springs City Councilman Joseph Serrano, Sr. resigned from office Thursday night before a stunned and silent standing room only crowd.
In a tearful announcement during the city council meeting, Serrano said that he would be leaving office effective July 31st.
Serrano has agreed to plead guilty in connection to a major federal bribery case that involves the accepting thousands of dollars in cash bribes from the operator of a marijuana dispensary doing business in the tiny industrial community.
Los Cerritos Community Newspaper was the only media outlet to speak to Serrano immediately after resigning. “I am sorry for what happened. I am dealing with it. This is devastating for me and my family,” Serrano told LCCN.

Serrano confirmed that he found out about the indictment “sometime last week.”
Councilwoman Juanita Trujillo sits in stunned silence.
Last week?  Huh?  Serrano had been followed by "the Feds" for at least two years in a undercover operation that is just beginning to come to light.

Makes me so angry when this happens, especially around "here."
I have lots more to share.
Been on a roll lately when it comes to these type of "stories."

I am sure you heard about that crooked Los Angeles County Assessor who is on paid vacation right now because of the crap he caused....

By the way.... stay tuned....more bombshells coming out... What a busy, busy day that lies ahead, boys and girls...gee is it really 4:20 in the morning.  Strange that I would look at the clock....
