LCCN BREAKING: Woman murdered across from Norwalk Park Sports Complex. One arrested.

A woman was shot and killed early Sunday afternoon adjacent to the popular Norwalk Sports and Athletic Complex at the 13200 block of Clarkdale Avenue.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy spokesman Tony Moore told Los Cerritos Community News that members of the Norwalk Sheriff's Department responded to a "shots fired" called at around 12:40 p.m. at a small apartment complex that is located at Clarkdale Avenue and Sproul Avenue.
A suspect, only described as a "adult male" has been placed into custody near where the shooting took place.
