Los Cerritos Community News has been told that students from Los Coyotes Middle School are in the process of being evacuated and taken to a nearby park. Janet Winfrey lives on Mart Drive immediately behind the house where a suspect has been barricaded since 7:45 a.m. inside a home on the 14600 block of Mercado Avenue in La Mirada.
