Hawaiian Gardens MAYOR MIKE GOMEZ: 

"I'M THROUGH! MEETING ADJOURNED!"
  

It was one of the most emotionally charged meetings in recent memory and tonight taxpayers and residents in Hawaiian Gardens are scratching their collected heads after Mayor Mike Gomez abruptly adjourned Tuesday's city council meeting before any official business was conducted.

An argument erupted between Gomez, and combative city council members Barry Bruce, and Reynaldo "Rey" Rodriguez at the tail end of the oral communications portion of the meeting when emotions reached a boiling point between city council members.

Gomez, literally walked out of the meeting with Vice Mayor Michi Canada and Councilman Victor Farfan in toe after ruling the meeting "adjourned" before any of the city's business agenda could be done.
