Long Beach, CA

Horrific update....

Five people have been killed in that plane crash in Long Beach this morning.

Fire department officials just wrapped up a press briefing confirming the five deaths.  The names of the victims have not been released.  Images of the crash show the plane in literal charred remains.

One victim survived.  As soon as the names of the victims are released, I will be posting them here on my blog.  The Federal Aviation Administration will be conducting an investigation.  Another press briefing will be taking place at 4 p.m. this afternoon.

Please keep all of those who lost their lives in your thoughts and prayers this afternoon.  So so sad.  I have been flying out of Long Beach my entire life.  This is one of the safest "commuter" airports in America.  If you live near this accident scene, please share your thoughts in my comment section below.

This happened right outside my work, Randy. Our buildings extend into LB airport. It was so scary to see.. It's like he just fell out of the sky. Damn.
