Los Angeles:
Who shot and killed Michael John Baldwin of LA last Friday morning over at Margaret Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard at around 7 a.m.?
The Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Area Detectives are asking the community to help find the person or persons responsible the death of the 29-year-old inside a in a stolen Lexus early Friday morning.
Here is the situation and the facts of the case:
During the course of the investigation, an unrelated arrest was made for felony evading. On that unrelated charge, Mario Lopez of Inglewood was booked and has since posted bail. He was eliminated as the homicide suspect. The investigation is currently ongoing.
Some media outlets here in LA, including at least one news station, reported that a suspect had been arrested for this murder. That information is not correct. The killer is still at large.
So, if you live in this area, or happen to have been near the scene of this unsolved murder, members of the LAPD would like to talk to you.

- INCIDENT TOOK PLACE LAST Friday, February 4, 2011, at about 7:00 a.m.
- LAPD responded to a shooting call on Margaret Avenue, just North of Jefferson Boulevard.
- Victim Michael John Baldwin of Los Angeles was pronounced dead at the scene
- Baldwin was found inside a stolen Lexus IS300.

I heard he set some guys car on fire earlier in the night.
yeah. he did set that truck on fire, but does arson justify homicide? and what does the fire the night before in playa del rey have to do with his being shot dead in culver city?
He was a good dude but he had a drug problem.... this is a sad end result. He was always terrorizing people and everyone let him get away with it. its sad for his parents, sister , finance and lovely 3 little girls.
