UPDATE: FEBRUARY 18, 2011
4:23 a.m. PACIFIC COAST TIME
Over the past week, I have had thousands of people from the Middle East read this post on the health of King Abdullah. I would like to hear from some of my readers in Saudi Arabia about the current health condition of The King. Is there any updates? PLEASE, share your thoughts if you live in this Kingdom in my comment section below. Thanks!

In spite of rumors running all over the Internet, Saudi Arabian King Abdullah bim Abdulaziz has apparently suffered some kind of a "health situation" just moments after he hung up on a phone call with US President Barack Obama earlier today.
Both the White House and the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Washington have issued two very different "official accounts" of the situation. A striking contrast that I find very concerning considering the uprising in Egypt.
Here is the statement from Saudi officials:
"The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a telephone call today from U.S. President Barack Obama. During the conversation, President Obama was reassured about the health of the Saudi leader. Bilateral relations were also reviewed, as well as the latest regional and international developments, particularly the events being witnessed in Egypt."
Okay. Got it. The King had a "health issue." Then moments later, the White House issued this statement:
"The President spoke today with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia about the situation in Egypt. The President emphasized the importance of taking immediate steps toward an orderly transition that is meaningful, lasting, legitimate, and responsive to the aspirations of the Egyptian people. The President also reaffirmed the long-term commitment of the United States to peace and security in the region."
Gee. Compare the two statements. Where does the truth lie about the condition of the aging King of Saudi Arabia? Probably somewhere in "the middle." Several news agencies in the Middle East are reporting that Abdullah actual "keeled over and died" during his phone call to Obama.
Ah, words. Press Statements. Welcome to a "Free Press" vs. a "controlled Kingdom." Keep you posted.
Whaddu think? Is this a cover up by both governments? Sound off. Hit my comment section.

King Abdullah phones King of Jordan
February 16, 2011
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz made a telephone call to Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein today. During their conversation, the two leaders reviewed developments in the Arab and international arenas. In particular, the Saudi monarch reassured King Abdullah II that Saudi Arabia stands by Jordan, its King, its government and its people, and wishes the country security, safety and prosperity.
