Cerritos, CA

I love this time of year over here on the tony east side of Cerritos.

Flowering pear trees are in full bloom. Pine tree cones are falling, and our beloved Cerritos Crane is back like clockwork!

Yep.  He's back.  Or shes back.

FINALLY I caught our crane in action doing what he does best.  Eating the gophers that also appear this time of year.

WE  need to come up with a name for this magical bird.  He  (she) stands at least three and a half feet tall when fully erect, and one of the most amazing wing spans you could ever imagine.
Going for the gophers?  I think our Crane just scored a big one.

East side of Cerritos: AKA, GOPHER FLATS!
Da' Crane chills out over on the massive lawn at Concordia Lutheran Church located aross the street from Cerritos Elementary School at Stowers and 183rd Street

Amazing sight to see.

Love my hometown.

Yes Sir-Rittos!

There is no place like home!
