I wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to HOMEBOY INDUSTRIES here in Los Angeles for launching a new line of chips and salsa, just in time for the upcoming Super Bowl extravaganza in a couple of weeks.

Yep. Homeboys Industry is a great organization here in Los Angeles that is overseen by Catholic Priest Fr. Gregory Boyle.  Now, to take their message of hope to the entire community, they have come up with "Homeboy Chips and Salsa!"

You will be about to find the new hot eats in all Southern California Ralphs Grocery Stores.  My friend, Brian Quintana, a Hollywood movie and television producer wanted me to share this "news" with all my readers....especially all us "peeps" here in the County of Angels.

So, tell your friends in the area, fill your shopping carts, give treats to your office colleagues -- let's empty the shelves to help of Fr. Gregory Boyle and everyone at Homeboy Industries!

Chef Pati Zarate came up with the "excellent salsa" that is served at their Downtown LA location.

Grab the Mango, Pico de Gallo (both Hot or Mild), and Chile Verde Salsas, and grab a bag of tortilla strips.

Proceeds from the sales of these products will help support the many outstanding programs at Homeboy including work with the at risk, formerly gang involved and previously incarcerated men and women who are working hare to change in their lives.

PLEASE pass this blog along to your peeps and post it on your Facebook page, and pass me another bowl of that mango salsa, pal!

I just got back from the Ralph's in Covina, and they didn't have them stocked....but I asked the manager and he is checking into when the chips and salsa will be arriving. Thanks for sharing this on your blog.
