ARTESIA, NORWALK
(Intersection of 166th Street and Clarkdale Avenue)
Scary afternoon for a bus load of local high school students here at the Norwalk, Artesia community line.
Here are the details from the California Highway Patrol. I just got back from the site...lots of people are upset tonight after this incident...

- Three people were injured
- Including two high school students.
- Names of students or school location have not been released.
- Crash took place Monday afternoon at 2:40 p.m.
- Location was corner of Clarkdale and 166th Street
- Artesia is on the south side of 166th and Norwalk is on the north side of street.
- Local school bus and a truck collided into each other.
- Driver of truck, possibly "under the influence" was injured.
- Extent of the driver’s injuries were unknown..
- Driver was in a 2005 Ford Truck. He is ided as Ramon Garcia, 30, of Norwalk.
- Driver of the school bus was Sandra Miller, age 65, of Anaheim.
- Garcia was taken to area hospital with cuts to his arms. Unknown if he was arrested. Will update later.

BTW....
I got to the site of the crash at 9:45 p.m., and the CHP and local law enforcement had already cleaned up and left the location. Many neighbors were mulling around talking about the crash, and some of them told me it was "real crazy, and real loud, and real scary."
