Great news! An arrest has been made in connection of the hit and run death of Lauren Ann Freeman, who died last night in a horrific incident on the famed Sunset Strip.
The man arrested is RYAN BOWMAN, 43, who is an Australian businessman.
Bowman turned himself in late Thursday afternoon and is in the process of being booked on  suspicion of manslaughter.  He turned himself in to officials at the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station.  More details as they happen.  I will also post additional details on the arrest from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's as soon as they are made available to the media, including booking details, photo, bail amount, court appearances, etc.

To "RYAN GONE WILD." I have called the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in BOTH WEST HOLLYWOOD and in MONTEREY PARK, and they cannot "confirm" or "deny" what Mr. Bowman does for an "occupation" until they have the "final" booking information. I have recieved many notes to my email asking this question. I am following up, and don't want to jump to any conclusions till I have "official" word from the LASD!

Do you mean this "RYAN BOWMAN" from AUSTRALIA who runs ZEAL ENTERTAIMENT ON SUNSET?

FROM THE PR NEWSWIRE

Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis today announced the launch of an Australian edition of the popular Girls Gone Wild Magazine, scheduled to hit newsstands down under on November 7. The new publication contains exclusively Australian content and will feature non-nude pictorials of Australia's hottest girls as well as articles from the world of entertainment, celebrity interviews, travel guides, sex advice, and offbeat tips from Australia's hottest writers.

"Australia is a spectacular country full of beautiful women," says Francis. "They embrace fun and freedom just as much as we do in America. Girls Gone Wild is becoming a global phenomenon, and we've been made to feel very welcome in Australia." Girls Gone Wild Australia magazine carries a cover price of $9.95. with each issue including a full-length Girls Gone Wild DVD.

Partnering with Girls Gone Wild to publish the Australian edition of the magazine is Zeal Entertainment, a global publisher and producer of mobile content services. Zeal Entertainment director Ryan Bowman says, "We are very excited to be working with Girls Gone Wild. Joe Francis has done amazing things with the brand, and we look forward to making it a big deal here in Australia."

Zeal Entertainment has also signed the worldwide distribution rights to Girls Gone Wild on mobile phones in all markets outside the USA. Zeal expects to bring original GGW content into new mobile markets throughout Europe, Asia and South America. "It's not just video content," Bowman says. "We will also be offering a mobile social media application, a user-generated content application and a new GGW Mobile game. With the increase in mobile video users and the huge success of the Girls Gone Wild brand, we're poised to make a real splash on the global mobile stage."

"Zeal's success with and solid understanding of mobile content services makes them an ideal choice to distribute Girls Gone Wild outside of the U.S.," says Joe Francis. "Our research shows that the world has been waiting for Girls Gone Wild, and now the wait is over."
