Call it an historical night in Buena Park.

MILLER OH makes HISTORY in BUENA PARK!
For the first time in the history of this community, an Asian American has won election to the City Council here.

Voters in Buena Park will have elected businessman Miller Oh and two other new faces to their city council on Tuesday.  Newcomers Elizabeth "Beth" Swift, Oh, and Steve Berry will make up a new new "rookie" majority on this city that rarely sees this type of "political sea change."

The election drew a large field of candidates....

Incumbent Don McCay was thrown under the "voter bus of democracy" and was soundly beaten for the third and final slot in the campaign.
