JFK Airport was the scene of an emergency landing of a passenger jet just around an hour ago. Scary stuff.

Delta Flight 30 returned safely to JFK after the Moscow-bound flight experienced a major engine malfunction. The BBC reported that there was a "fire" in one of then engines, but according to other sources that was incorrect.

Thank GOODNESS no was injured.

If YOU were a passenger on this flight, and happen to run across this blog post, please drop me a note and tell me what you experienced. Also, if you have any video or photos, please SEND them to my email at RREconomy@aol.com.

Above is the first video coverage of the situation from the BBC.
