Today, the "hot news" on my blog is "Jerry Brown Whore Talk" and the wild out of control "Pony Express" roller coaster accident that took place over at Knott's Berry Farm in BP.

Lots of letters and opinions. Wanted to post this note from "Jenni" who had just gotten off the "Pony Express" just seconds before the crash took place.  Great "first hand" account of what actually took place.  Thanks "Jenni!"

"Randy:

"I was loaded on to the next stationed set of horses. The ride was locked and we couldn't get our feet (out) or (move) anything, so the ride attendant casually told everyone to get off.

As soon as me and my boyfriend got off, just milliseconds later, the car that went before us went full speed in reversed and crashed into the stationed horses that we had just been told to get off of!

It was terrifying and i heard at least 3 women moan about their neck and backs and I remember in the front of that reversed car were a few people that had trouble being strapped into the ride in the first place.

On the news later that night I watched one of the men I saw that was even sitting in the front yet still got injured.

My boyfriend and i were so scared... could you imagine having still been on the docked car not secured and having that crash happen!

I wish the attendants would have been a little more urgent when saying get off the docked horses because it was just way too close of a call.

My guess is that by how long that first car was gone i would say it would have at least have been half way done with the ride before it came back because how else could we have had that much time to get on and off that second car so fast.

Pony Express is a pretty quick ride. My guess is when it crashed it was about 40 mph.

Thanks,
"Jenni"

Also, the State of California is now launching an investigation into the safety of the Pony Express into what caused the accident. 10 people were taken to at least 3 area local hospitals for neck, back and leg injuries.

If you have any "first hand accounts" of the incident, including photos or videos, please send them to my email at RREconomy@aol.com.
