LOWE'S HARDWARE ON CARMENITA ROAD HIT BY 'TAKEOVER' ROBBERS

NORWALK -

Our very own local Lowe's Hardware Store...right up the street at Carmenita Road and the 5 Freeway... was hit by two robbers at the crack of dawn Sunday morning...just before the store opened.

Thank goodness no one was hurt. Here are the details.

Around 6 a.m. two men entered the Lowe's Hardware Store and ordered an employee to open a safe at gunpoint. One of the robbers was armed with a handgun.

Law enforcement said robbers forced the manager to open a safe before locking him and another employee in internal office inside the store that is located at 14873 Carmenita Road.
