MURDER IN CUDAHY: 4600 Block of Live Oak Street is the scene of the latest deadly killing in Los Angeles County

Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult in 4600 block of Live Oak Street, in the City of Cudahy.

At approximately 7:45 p.m., Monday evening, deputies from East Los Angeles Station responded to a "gunshot victim down" call at the location. They arrived to find the victim suffering from gunshot wounds lying in the driveway of the location.

Witnesses told deputies they saw two or three male Hispanics fleeing the location following the shots. The suspects entered a white, newer model, Sports Utility Vehicle, (SUV), and were last seen driving westbound on Live Oak Street and out of view.

The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time. Anyone with information is urged to call Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at: (323) 890 5500. If you prefer to provide information ANONYMOUSLY, you can call
