First of all, I was raised on soy milk

I was lactose intolerant as an infant

My much older and wiser brother Richard Economy, now age 53, was a "Similac" baby.

So, I know my baby formulas.

I turned out to be a "Political Pirate" and my brother is a genius.   Go figure....

Anyway....

Abbott Laboratories Incl, who produces Similac baby formula announced a voluntary recall of Similac baby formula on Wednesday.

What for, might you ask?  Beetles in the juice.  Yep.  Certain containers and cans may contain small insect parts and beetle larvae.  How HOT IS THAT!

These insect parts can "irritate"  parts of the gastrointestinal tract and cause discomfort. Duh.   See my "chart" for where your "private" inside scope out.

The company suggests not to feed the "slac to the kiddies/  Consult a physician if your baby shows symptoms for more than a few days, like turning green and vomiting endlessly.

The recall of the Similac powder infant formulas includes certain Similac powder product lines offered in plastic containers and certain Similac powder product lines offered in 8-ounce, 12.4-ounce and 12.9-ounce cans.

If you bought Similac and suspect that you have some of the contaminated stuff in your posession, you can look up the lot numbers on www.similac.com/recall/lookup call (800) 986-8850.

Remember, America loves our "Similac KIDS!"
