Lago Vista fire "100% Contained" by 8:45 p.m. tonight

Here is an update on the Lago Vista Fire that broke out late this afternoon in the Palmdale area of Los Angeles County.

Cal Fire is reporting that the fire is now 100% "contained" as of 8:45 p.m. (around five minutes ago). Crews are now confident that the worst is over on this brush fire than burned around 135 acres. BTW... if you are a "Tweeter" you HAVE to "follow" "CalFire."

It always amazes me how quick they can get an upper hand on these blazes, especially in hot icky weather like we are having here in the South land.
