He was a family man, a father of two beautiful young children, a devoted father, a soon to be graduate of Cerritos College. His dream was to be a successful auto mechanic.
Tonight, the family of Juan Pacheco is planning his funeral, and searching for answers, and hoping to find those responsible for his horrific murder that took place on Friday late afternoon on the 105 Freeway.
Pacheco, 28 of Bellflower is being mourned and remembered for his love of family, and his dedication to his community and friends.
Everyone who knew Pacheco is searching for answers and are mourning is death.
Law enforcement identified Pacheco as the victim of that violent shooting that took place on the 105 Freeway between Lakewood and Bellflower Boulevard Friday afternoon at the Downey/Bellflower city limits. The incident has enraged many of us in our community. Now...WE ALL need to find the person responsible for this horrific ordeal and to bring him to justice...ASAP!
The suspect's car is described as a blue 2002 or 2003 Honda Accord with chrome rims and tinted windows.
Anyone with information is asked to call Downey police at (562) 904-2308.
Also, if you have a special memory, or thought, about Juan, please feel free to share it here on my blog.
I will keep you posted. We all need to HELP this FAMILY during this time.
Keep this family in your PRAYERS!

I cannot believe that he is gone. I have known Pacheco and his wife for a long time. As soon as I heard I was in shock and tears just started comin gout of my eyes. I have been praying for his wife, children and family to keep them strong and to find that evil person that did this. May God bless them and bring this case to justice. Lots o f love to the Pacheco Family.
Went to H.S with Juan, played football with him as well. Pacheco was always the "funny guy" but at the same time serious. He loved the idea of learning new things all the time, he enjoyed criticism which boosted his morale to strive forward in life. Seen him a few months back when I was in town, now my H.S friend which I was looking forward in seeing for our 10 yr H.S reunion is gone. If anyone knows any info on the funeral please let me know... I, and other H.S friends would love to attend and donate $ for his service.
may god bless our beloved friend and his family...
RIP Pacheco!
