FBI to provide assistance to Mexican Law Enforcement over Salcedo Murder Investigation

Update on Salcedo Murder Investigation:

The FBI is providing assistance to Mexican law enforcement in the investigation of the murder of El Monte educator Agustin Roberto "Bobby" Salcedo, who was killed last week while visiting family in Mexico on New Years Eve.

"We will be assisting them with whatever investigation needs to take place in this country," said Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman in the FBI's Los Angeles office.

Salcedo, 33, was found shot to death along with five other men last week in Gomez Palacio, Mexico.  With the FBI's involvement in this matter, look for the investigation to ramp up quickly.  Stay tuned.
