SCRAPBOOK: LA Live with Chuck Henry, Colleen Williams, Fritz Coleman, and Dr. Bruce Hensel at Wolfgang Pucks on Friday night for NBC LA's Olympic Party

I wanted to THANK my SPECIAL SPECIAL FRIENDS over at NBC News here in Los Angeles for having the honor of being their special invited guests at Wolfgang Puck's at LA Live on Friday night to watch the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics. NBC LA loves Los Cerritos Community Newspaper and the FEELING is MUTUAL! What a great night. Very intimate group of around 40 people were invited to attend. Brian Hews (LCCN Publisher) and his amazing wife Cora, and daughters Jessica and Ellis and myself really enjoyed spending this evening with Anchor's Colleen Williams, Chuck Henry, Weatherman Fritz Coleman, and Dr. Bruce Hensel. Also the management of NBC News in Los Angeles is to be complimented for reaching out to Los Cerritos Community Newspaper and recognizing our amazing recent coverage into the corruption inside the Los Angeles County Hall of Administration. Lot's MORE to come! I will have more pics and "cool stuff" about the party in the next Los Cerritos Community Newspaper. Yes, the PIZZA'S were to DIE FOR...and homemade deserts....YOU GO WOLFGANG! Hoohoo

I was thrilled to be on Non-Stop California on Monday with Anchor Colleen Williams. What a thrill and honor for Los Cerritos Community Newspaper. Here is a clip from the show.

"Los Cerritos Community Newspaper recently published hundreds of e-mails between Los Angeles County Assessor John R. Noguez and several property tax agents. The emails were obtained by the newspaper through a series of public document requests. This is the second set of documents published by the community newspaper that has been at the forefront of reporting and exposing the alleged “pay to play” activities between tax agents and Noguez for the past two years. Reporter Randy Economy joins Colleen Williams on Nonstop News LA to discuss how their investigation began on June 25, 2012."

An EXCELLENT afternoon at NBC News here in Burbank!

What a BLAST being with Colleen Williams, Anchor of NBC News here in Southern California on Monday! I appeared on California Non Stop and talked about the importance of community newspapers in our society and how we broke the story about the current criminal investigation inside the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office. Thanks, NBC! I could get use to this "hair and makeup" routine. The bottom pic was captured in the "Green Room," and Colleen and I are both reading one of the hundreds of emails Los Cerritos Community Newspaper published between Assessor John Noguez and property tax agents who have made untold millions because of their paid political influence.... Looking forward to many more visits \to NBC LA! xo :)
