LA School Police Investigating Threat at all LAUSD schools, LASD Assisting
Los Angeles School Police Department has requested the assistance of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to assist in a search operation of all Los Angeles Unified School District schools after an unspecified threat was received.
As a precaution, all LAUSD schools are closed for today.
Please remember, if you SEE SOMETHING that you believe is suspicious or doesn’t look right to you, SAY SOMETHING by calling: (888) 950-SAFE (7233), or your local police department.

All campuses at the Los Angeles Unified School District have been closed due to threats.

"Special notice: All LAUSD schools are closed today. All students should return home."
The decision to close the campuses was made by Superintendent Ramon Contines and LAUSD Board of Education President Steve Zimmer.

Zimmer told KTLA: "This is a serious threat!"
"We get threats everyday...this is different."
"It is going to be a long day. A threat came in overnight. Please keep your kids at home. This is historic," Zimmer said.
