(Hollywood) The Randy Economy Show is now the top rated weekend talk show on AM 870 The Answer (KRLA) according to data obtained by Nielsen/Arbitron for the month of June, 2015 and continues to grow in popularity just four months on the air.

The Randy Economy Show airs from 8 to 9 p.m. on the Salem Communications owned network that also features talk show hosts Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt and many other nationally popular on air personalities.

Randy Economy is one of the most respected Investigative Journalists on the West Coast and is the recipient of four top awards from the prestigious Los Angeles Press Club in 2013 and 2014.

The radio talk show debuted on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 on AM 870 The Answer. Economy actually was sidelined for his first show, after coming down with a serious case of stomach flu just days earlier.

The Randy Economy Show has also been featured on CNN, CNN International, Fox News, and hundreds of other television news outlets around the world since it hit the airwaves.

Economy uncovered a $1 billion dollar political “pay to play” scheme inside the Los Angeles County Tax Assessor’s Office that lead to the arrest of Assessor John Noguez, Property Tax Consultant Ramin Salari, Property Appraiser Mark McNeill, and Property Appraiser Scott Schenter. The series of articles resulted in him being recognized as a candidate for the prestigious Pulitzer Prize in 2013.

Economy also uncovered misuse of public office by Los Angeles Controller Wendy Greuel revealing how her elected position was used to leverage millions of dollars for her unsuccessful campaign for Mayor in 2013.

Economy, a resident of Cerritos, also uncovered massive fraud and political corruption inside the Central Basin Municipal Water District. The agency is now part of a criminal investigation by the FBI and US Attorney’s Office.

Bold, brass, and quick witted, Economy has also uncovered and reported on FBI probe of California State Senator Ronald Calderon, former Assemblyman Tom Calderon that led to both of their arrests in a complex bribery scheme.
