SELENA GOMEZ "STALKER" CASE: Thomas Brodnicki of Illinois brought up on felony charges

Selena GomezSelena Gomez (Image via RottenTomatoes.com)LOS ANGELES – A 46-year-old man accused of stalking actress and singer Selena Gomez pleaded not guilty today, the District Attorney’s Office announced. Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall of the Target Crimes Division said Thomas Brodnicki (dob 1/23/65) is charged with one count of stalking in case No. BA390417. The criminal complaint alleges that Brodnicki stalked the young celebrity between July and October 2011. The defendant will return to the Foltz Criminal Justice Center on Nov. 16 for a preliminary hearing in Department 37. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Upinder Kalra set Brodnicki’s bail at $150,000 and granted a three-year protective order. If convicted as charged, the defendant faces a maximum state prison term of three years. Officers of the Los Angeles Police Department investigated the case.
