Richard Saucedo is my "Idiot Crook of the Day!"  Congratulations are being doled out to the Norwalk man who  falsely identified himself as a police officer when he tried to flee the scene of a car vandalism near the Las Vegas Strip earlier this week, according to news reports.

Saucedo, 21, and who is from the 90650, was popped last Saturday after he was spotted kicking and damaging a Ford Mustang in the employee parking lot of Bill's Gambling Hall at Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road.

A casino security officer told police he saw Saucedo kicking the silver-colored vehicle around 1:30 a.m.

What a dip shit.

The officer walked up to Saucedo and asked what he was doing?

Ahhhhh.....?  "You mean, me, officer?" . Saucedo, then, told the security guard he was a southern California police officer while trying to get away from the scene, according to the arrest report.

The guard took Saucedo in custody, slapped the cuffs on him and hauled his butt to jail. Saucedo was charged with impersonating a police officer and injuring or tampering a vehicle causing damage, both gross misdemeanors, and well, so much of "playing police man" in Vegas, baby.
