Wilson Phillips was off the hook amazing Friday night at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. I just got back, and let me tell you, it is GREAT to have these three All-American woman BACK on STAGE where they belong.

I am going to do a full review for next weeks edition of the Los Cerritos Community News, but in the meantime, Chynna Phillips, Carnie and Wendy Wilson are literally going to be back on top of the music world with their upcoming album and cd that is a tribute to their lineage, the Beach Boys, and The Mamas and Papas.

Also it was incredible to see the off spring of these three appearing on stage at the start of the "second act." Their music legacy will live on, just like it should be.

Also great to see Michele Phillips in Cerritos on Friday night at the concert. She is the mother of Chynna and was part of the iconic "Mamas and Papas." Looks INCREDIBLE!

Biggest scoop: New "tribute" album to the Beach Boys and Mamas and Paps is going to be red hot...and look for it to be released in February 2012. It will be a remake of the "classics" that their parents made popular nearly some 50 years ago like "California Dreamin'" and "California Girls" and "Creeque Alley."

Also, look for Chynna to be on "Dancing With the Stars" this coming season. More next week at www.loscerritosnews.net.
