Two aftershocks have lingered around the Virginia countryside this afternoon that ranged from 2.2 to 2.8, and officials warn that more "sizable" aftershocks may be felt for days or weeks ahead. Within minutes after the last aftershock of 2.8, more than 712 people sent messages to the United States Geological Association via their website.
