Antioch, CA: Authorities have issued an
Amber Alert for a 16-year-old boy
who was reportedly abducted and forced at gunpoint to drive the getaway
car after a barbershop
holdup. Authorities are looking for a black,
two-door
GMC Yukon with
California license plate 4WAY944, authorities
said. The truck has a
Harley Davidson sticker in the upper center of the rear window and has shiny 22-inch rims.
Hasaan Ameer Ford: is
African American, 5-foot-4 and 110 pounds, and was wearing
black jeans, a red coat and a
Cincinnati Reds baseball cap. The
kidnapper was African American, about 25 years old, 5-foot-7 and 180
pounds. He was wearing a blue jean jacket and a blue knit cap with a
white stripe, authorities said. The
SUV was last seen driving west on
West 18th Street.
A robber entered Al's
Barber Shop at 11 West 18th St. around 3:15
p.m. with a sawed-off shotgun, according to store manager Al Holmes, who
was alone in the shop at the time. The robber ordered Holmes to the
ground and took his $150 watch, $200 worth of jewelry, shop keys and the
keys to his GMC Yukon. But as the robber left, he ran into Hasaan Ameer
Ford, a shop employee who was returning from an errand.
The robber ordered him at gunpoint to drive Holmes' SUV, police and Holmes said.
