LOS ANGELES – Two men were charged by the District Attorney’s Office today with mayhem, and assault in the March 31 beating of Santa Cruz paramedic Bryan Stow outside Dodger Stadium.
“The Los Angeles Police Department never gave up on this case,” said District Attorney Steve Cooley in a prepared statement. “The experienced prosecutors assigned to the case will present the evidence in the courtroom, where ultimate decisions will be made.”

Louie Sanchez, 29 (dob 5/16/1982), and Marvin Norwood, 30 (dob 10/1/1980), both of Rialto, were charged in case No. BA 386892 with one count each of mayhem, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and battery with serious bodily injury, all felonies. Sanchez also was charged with two misdemeanor counts of battery stemming from a separate incident the same day. The complaint alleged the both men personally inflicted great bodily injury on Stow.
The defendants are expected to appear for arraignment Monday in Department 30 of Los Angeles Superior Court.
Sanchez and Norwood, arrested by Los Angeles police at their San Bernardino County homes yesterday, are being held on $500,000 bail each. A woman who was taken into custody with the two men was not charged.
Stow, 42, a San Francisco Giants fan, was beaten after the Dodgers’ opening game. The attack occurred in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium. Stow remains hospitalized and in a coma.
Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division launched a full-scale investigation into the Dodger Stadium attack at the instruction of Chief Charlie Beck.
Deputy District Attorneys Michele Hanisee and Frank Santoro of the Major Crimes Division will prosecute the defendants.
If convicted, the Sanchez faces a possible maximum state prison term of nine years and Norwood faces a possible maximum eight-year term.

I could see a slight resemblance between Giovanni Ramirez and Louie Sanchez. He looks more like the "typical" Dodger fan. I will NOT go BACK to DODGER STADIUM again.

I won't go anywhere near Dodger stadium or the LA Colosseum. Nothing but crime and gangs down there.

Just a couple of cock roaches. They will find more resistive victims where they are going. I bet Norwood is wearing a duster and house slippers the first week. Sanchez will be seen standing with his back to the wall. Have fun boys!
