Victim Pamela Fayed.... |
Shout out to my pal Alan Jackson from the LA County District Attorney's Office for SUCCESSFULLY PROSECUTING this CASE along with Eric Harmon. Great JOB GUYS! Don't mess with the LA County DA when it comes to "high profile" murder cases. Period.

LOS ANGELES – A
jury recommended the death penalty today for
James Michael Fayed, a 48-year-old businessman convicted of orchestrating the murder of his estranged wife in a
Century City parking garage in 2008.
The jury of eight men and four women deliberated about three days before returning this morning with a verdict in the penalty phase. The same jury convicted Fayed on May 19 of
first-degree murder and conspiracy and found the special circumstances of murder for financial gain and lying in wait to be true. The case was prosecuted by Deputy
District Attorneys Eric Harmon and
Alan Jackson. Sentencing for the
Ventura County businessman is scheduled for Sept. 22 before Judge
Kathleen Kennedy. Pamela Fayed was stabbed 13 times near her
SUV parked in a garage at Watt Tower on July 28, 2008. She and her estranged husband, the owner of a gold-trading company, had just met with their criminal attorneys over a federal investigation into the couple's business. Three other men charged in Pamela Fayed's killing are awaiting trial separately. They are: Steven Vicente Simmons, 22, who allegedly fatally stabbed Pamela Fayed; Jose Luis Moya, 50, a Fayed employee who allegedly was paid $25,000 to arrange the murder; and Gabriel Jay Marquez, 46, who allegedly acted as lookout. Each face life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted.
