DENNING, ARKANSAS DESTROYED IN TORANDO. ENTIRE TOWN IS GONE IN MINUTES

Denning, Arkansas

The town of Denning, Arkansas has been literally taken off the face of this Earth in a massive, powerful large tornado on Tuesday.

Here is more about the quaint little area....

Denning is an incorporated place located in Franklin County, in the Ozark area.  Not a lot of people live in Denning, but more than 270 people in  115 housing units called Denning "home sweet home."

The Arkansas state seal.Image via WikipediaDenning is just a tad larger than Hawaiian Gardens, Ca, or tiny La Palma, CA.  Before the tornado hit on Tuesday, Denning was 1.1 sq. miles.  Keep you posted on updates.


The National Weather Service reported that a large, dangerous tornado hit in Denning, just south of Altus.

The tornado hit the area about 12:15 a.m., and it continued to the northeast.
 Spotters reported that this large tornado was up to a mile wide at one point just before it struck Denning.  Pray for DENNING TONIGHT!
