LA PALMA, Calif. –
The City of La Palma Police Department has issued a community alert regarding a scary incident that took place this Tuesday, in what is calling a "child annoyance case."
I just saw our good friend Lt. Raul Morales of the La Palma PD (hey Raul) on NBC 4 talking to reporter Jennifer Bjorklund about this case. (Welcome to the "hood" Jen....).
Anyway. We need to catch this clown before something bad happens. Here is the "official word" for the La Palma PD.
On Tuesday, May 24, at 2:40 p.m., a 12-year old girl was confronted by a suspicious male adult as she was walking home from school near the intersection of Moody Street and La Palma Avenue in the City of La Palma. La Palma Police Detectives are investigating the incident in which the suspect was seen in surveillance footage driving his car in a series of turning movements so he could drive-up to the victim and ask her if she “wanted a ride.” The suspect is described as male Hispanic, 30 to 35 years old, with medium to heavy build, brown hair, brown eyes, and has a circular tattoo on his forearm. The suspect’s car is described as a black or dark blue sedan, possibly a 2002 to 2004 Chrysler 300M.
La Palma Police Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in this case; anyone with information is encouraged to call (714) 690-3375.
