KOBE BRYANT: This past week has been a pain in the neck for the Laker superstar. Was his injury on Sunday "Deja Vu," "poetic justice," or a "sign from Above?" You make the call...

Los Angeles, CA

Kobe Bryant has been a pain in the neck for a lot of people this past week. Literally.

Talk about a bizarre week for the Laker
superstar. He will NOT forget this "Spring Fling" for eons.

Bryant started the week enraging fans all over the globe when he was caught on camera calling an NBA Ref a "fag."

He was fined $100,000 by NBA Commissioner David Stern for his outburst and his "potty talk" has become an "internet" hit on You Tube.

Then comes Sunday.   Deja Vu, or  bad luck, or "poetic justice?"  You make the call...

Kobe ended the first half of the first game of the NBA Playoffs on Sunday between the Lakers and the New Orleans Hornets by slamming the back of his neck on a steel chair in the front row after throwing up one of his "trademark" buzzer beating 30 footers.  (See the video of Kobe injuring his neck above via You Tube)..

Kobe yelled in pain, grab his neck and was flat on his stomach for at least 2 minutes. Television announcers were stunned. The entire Laker team gathered around Kobe, waiting for him to get back on his feet.  He did, and the Lakers ended up getting stung by the underdawg Hornets.

This is been one brutal week for the NBA superstar.  If New Orleans goes on to beat the Lakers in this First Round of the NBA Playoffs, Kobe Bryant will remember this past week as being just a "total pain in the neck."

Is this a "symbolic" fall from "Grace" for Kobe and the Lakers?  Is this a sign "from above?"   Remember, this is also "Holy Week."  Anything is possible.  See you for Game 2.

Pray for the Lakers, they are going to need it.
