Cerritos, Norwalk, CA

Next week voters in Cerritos, Lakewood, Bellflower, Norwalk and Los Angeles are going to be electing new members of their city councils.

I have followed all of these races here on my blog for months.  Today I wanted to start pointing out some "worthy" candidates for your "consideration."

Your vote in VITAL.  Election day is NEXT Tuesday, March 8th.

First, in Norwalk. 14 candidates. All passionate about their community.

Tough campaign, even for "Norwalk" standards.

One candidate I totally support is Marcel Rodarte.

Marcel will bring an "independent" voice to the Norwalk City Council and honesty, energy and integrity.

Marcel works for the Department of Defense and just got back from a seven month deployment with the US Air Force in Germany.

Norwalk needs change.  It also needs "independent thinkers."  Marcel fits the bill, and gets my support.  Please give Marcel one of your THREE VOTES.

I also like Mary Jane McIntosh, Anthony Garcia, and Leonard Shryock.

Norwalk needs to move forward with fresh ideas and a city council that works for the people, instead rubber stamping "city staff" recommendations.  Your call on two of my remaining picks.

CERRITOS CITY COUNCIL ELECTION

I have three signs up in my front yard.  Official seal of City of CerritosImage via Wikipedia

One for Mayor Joseph Cho, one for challenger Mark Pulido and the other for challenger Christopher F. "Chris" Fuentes.

This election is about bring a new "independent" tone to the Cerritos City Council.  I also like first time candidate Karin Rami.  But Cho, Puldo and Fuentes should get your consideration and your votes.

We need a city council that places the needs of CERRITOS RESIDENTS FIRST before another other outside "pet projecst" ie:  High Speed Trains, out of control "travel expenses"and wasting time money and energy on ANYTHING other than FIXING Cerritos.

This campaign is turning NASTY during the LAST week.  Political "hit" pieces are being sent to voters in unmarked "stamped" white envelopes. Who is getting nervous to have to resort to "desperation" dirty campaign tricks at the 11th hour?  (Sad, ain't it?)

Here is a look at CERRITOS CITY COUNCIL
Candidate Chris Fuentes

Hi Randy, don't know if you've heard, but there was another smear campaign flier in the mail today, this time targeting Norwalk City Council candidate Luigi Vernola. It accused him of several illegal activities and compared him to Robert Rizzi, former disgraced Bell City Manager. It was from the same location (in Cypress) as the one on your website. I gave the flier to a campaigner of Jesse Luera, who happened to be ringing doorbells in my neighborhood, and was genuinely concerned about the negative campaigning and "hit mail" fliers. Too bad someone has reached to this type of negative campaigning for a little-paid city council position. Easy to see why most people don't want to go through the humiliating process of running for public office.

Best regards.

Found your website on Google, interesting reading:)
