A large 6.8 earthquake has hit in the northern part of Myanmar and it was felt as far away at Thailand.

My "adopted brother" Martin, is from Myanmar, and I am praying for his friends and family who live in Yangoon. His uncle, Fr. Francis is a Catholic Priest and lives in this Northern portion of Myanmar that has been hit with the quake.

Martin in a graduate student in the Masters Program here at Long Beach State University.
