PAGING OFFICER JEFFREY STENROOS: Let me tell your side of the story; Newsy.com has a great take on the "anger" over the El Camino Real High School "Phoney" shooting scam.

What's THE REaction:
Finally. A face and a photo of Jeff Stenroos.

Councilman Denny Zine:  Yep.  He got duped also. Amazing, ain't it!

First of all, I am not done with following the arrest case of Los Angeles School Police Department Officer Jeffrey Stenroos who pulled the "fake-out" of the year (so far) when he claimed he was shot two weeks ago outside of El Camino Real High School by some guy with a "bomber jacket" and pulled back hair, yada yada.
This case as our local version of "Balloon Boy with a Badge."

Stenroos was arrested on Thursday, booked on at least one Felony count of Filing a False Police Report. He posted a $20,000.00 bail, and is now out of jail and is "somewhere" out there. Stenroos has created a huge black eye for local law enforcement, and needs to be held accountable for this actions and this costly stunt that cost you and I literally hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars in police overtime, and countless hours of detective work.

I would love the opportunity to speak directly to Mr. Stenroos, so he can tell his version of the situation and "what he was thinking." Why did he do this? Is he remorseful? How could this get so out of hand? What is his background?  You know, Jeff.  I would love to tell your side of the situation. If anyone can get a note to Officer Stenroos on behalf of my readers, drop me a note to economy4ABC.Blogspot.com@gmail.com.

LAPD Chief Charlie Beck has been taking a pounding over this ONE case in the media, radio talk shows, and on blogs. I kinda feel sorry for Chief Beck.  He seems like a real stand-up crime fighter. I for one appreciate his honesty and candor with the community and media during the past couple of days since these new developments have been revealed. I don't envy the job of being a Chief of Police in any community. The LAPD has done an incredible job during the past year "reshaping" the department from top to bottom, and we have Chief Beck to thank for this accomplishment. Still, the anger over this "El Camino Real High School Prank Gone Wild" still lingers all over the city of Angels.

I wanted to post this below note and above video from Matt Schmertz from www.Newsy.com over my coverage of this debacle. Thanks, Matt. I look forward to working with Newsy.com in the future on some ventures.

Hello Randy,
I just finished reading your blog post about the recent hoax shooting in LA. This is a shocking story that deserves all of the attention it is getting. This type of irresponsibility is unacceptable especially in an educational environment. This type of disruption has likely impacted the lives of many of the students and has at the least been a major distraction for everyone at the school where the incident took place. I was very impressed with how well you analyzed the news and presented the story to your audience. I would like to pass along this video that offers a unique take on the coverage of this story. The video is from Newsy.com. Newsy synthesizes news from around the world and condenses the opinions and information into short 2-3 minute videos.
Best,
Matt Schmertz

I live on the same street as Stenroos. He is NO WHERE to be found. His house is totally dark. No one around except for media looking for him. I wonder if he had a hidden "drug" problem?
