Los Angeles, CA

It is way too early for me to be up and outta bed, but I have to run off to LAX.

No, not going greet Obama to Los Angeles today, just picking up a dear friend at the airport.

But, I will betcha a bunch of dollars that I will probably end up in "L.A. Obama Traffic Nightmare PART DOUX" today sooner or later, and the odds are great that you too will be caught in chaos.

Obama is here to screw up our traffic, yet again.  Sure he is avoiding Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, and the Westside of LA.  Nope, he is heading to USC (next to the Felix the Cat sign by SC, stupid) for a rally for endangered Democratic Senator Barbie Boxer just south of downtown, and then he is off to an event up in the Glendale/Pasadena area.

I want EVER VOTER to remember this traffic nightmare today, then get to the polls and vote to CHANGE AMERICA...and do not support any candidate who attends these rally's today....

So, here is the drill ...the "official" traffic plan from the Los Angeles Police Department:

CLOSURES:
Martin Luther King Boulevard between South Figueroa Street and South Vermont Avenue:
Soft closure 9:30 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.
Hard closure 11:25 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.

Plus ...

South Vermont Avenue between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Exposition Boulevard:
Soft closure 9:30 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.
Hard closure 11:25 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
South Figueroa between Martin Luther King and 39th Street:
Soft closure 9:30 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.
Hard closure 11:25 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
Exposition Boulevard between Vermont and Figueroa
Hard closure 11:25 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
Additionally, hard closures for all of the above will happen from 2:25 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
