West Hollywood, CA

What is with all of the armed crimes going on in West Hollywood as of late?

On Sunday morning at around 2 a.m. a deputy opened fire on a a man he thought had robbed a liquor store on Havenhurst and SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD in West Hollywood.  (I actually use to live on   Instead of hitting the suspect the officer missed shooting a store employee.   At least eight shots were fired mistakenly at the store employee.  The two suspects got away and are on the loose.
The incident was caught on video.  The liquor store is located at the 1000 block of Havenhurst Drive.
The video shows the suspect pulling the cash register drawer full of cash and one of the robbers dumped the money into his accomplice's backpack.
The clerk followed after them and when law enforcement showed up on the scene the deputy opened fire.
Here is a description of those wanted:
  • Two suspects, one a man and the other apparently "a woman."  (duh)
  • Both were seen wearing "hoodies."
  • One wore a white hoodie and the other a pink one with designs.
If you have information on this situation, call (310) 855-8850.
