Wyoming, USA

Two earthquakes registering 4.0 and 4.1 have hit in the western part of Wyoming this afternoon.  Wyoming? Earthquakes?  Yep.

The first one  registered a 4.1 hit  at 2:09 p.m. on Sunday afternoon (local Mountain Time) and was centered 13 miles west, southwest of Bondurant, Wyoming (see blue mark on map).

The second quake was a 4.0 and hit at 4:20 p.m. Sunday and was located 25 miles south of the popular resort of Jackson, Wyoming.

Locals are describing the shakes as "weird" and "strange" since these are so rare in this part of the world.  Welcome to the new  "quake country, USA!"
